Yakisoba Noodles with Beef

Hello! So I'm finally back with a new recipe post! I've come up with a schedule for at least this month where I can do my school work, work on this blog, and enjoy my life. So for at least this month each Monday I will be posting a new recipe! 

Ok, so on to the new recipe. I've been making these Yakisoba Noodles with Beef for awhile and I have finally figured out the perfect ratio of ingredients! YES! I found this recipe on YouTube actually. You can find the video here if you would like to check it out. Let's hop into my kitchen and start cooking this recipe up!



Yakisoba Noodles with Beef


Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 2 BIG portions

Ingredients

1/2 Onion chopped
2 Garlic cloves minced
1 cup Cabbage chopped
10 Baby Carrots chopped
8 oz flank steak sliced
Salt
Pepper
Seasoning Salt
2 Tbsp Oil- Canola, Vegetable
1/8 tsp Crushed Red Pepper*
Yakisoba Noodles**
Yakisoba Flavoring

*Note: Use less or more depending on how spicy you like your food.
**Note: I used 2 packages of Yakisoba Noodles with Beef Flavor. I threw the veggie package away and kept the noodles and flavor packets.

Cookware

Large cutting board
Knife
4 small bowls
1 big bowl
Wok
Tongs
Spoon
Tablespoon
Teaspoon

Preparation

1. Cut up vegetables and meat.
2. Season meat with a few dashes of salt, pepper, and seasoning salt.
3. Place oil, garlic, and red pepper in wok on low for about two minutes. Remove combination and put to the side.
4. Place seasoned meat in wok on high heat for about two minutes. Place into large bowl.
5. Pour some of the oil combination in wok on high heat. Add carrots and cook for a minute. Add onion and cook for a minute. Add cabbage and cook for a minute. Add the rest of the garlic and oil combination. Stir together for about another minute. Put veggies in bowl with meat.
6. Turn wok on high heat and place water for noodles and boil*. Add noodles. After 2 minutes and noodles are soft. Add flavor packets. Cook until noodles soaked up flavor and most liquid is gone.
7. Add veggies and meat and cook until liquid is gone. Plate and enjoy!

*Note: I determined the amount of water to use according to the noodles package.

3. Cut up beef into bite size pieces or slices.


4. Season beef with a few dashes of salt, pepper, and seasoning salt.

6. Remove combination and put to the side.


7. Place seasoned meat in wok on high heat for about two minutes.


8. Place into large bowl.

11. Add cabbage and cook for a minute.

13. Put veggies in bowl with meat.


14. Turn wok on high heat and place water for noodles and boil. Note: I determined the amount of water I used according to the package.


15. Add noodles.


16. After 2 minutes and noodles are soft. Add flavor packets.


17. Cook until noodles soaked up flavor and most liquid is gone.


18. Add veggies and meat and cook until liquid is gone.


19. Plate and enjoy!
