3 Course Valentine's Dinner For Two, Second Course: Roasted Broccoli



3 Course Valentine's Dinner for Two | Table for Two, please?

Welcome to day 3 of 3 Course Valentine's Dinner for Two! No clue what this whole series is about!? It's ok click that link and it will explain everything. Today we are moving on to the second course of the menu! We are going to start with the side dish and then tomorrow we will move on to the main dish. So let's head into my kitchen and start cooking...


Roasted Broccoli | Table for Two, please?

Step-by-Step Pictures


Ingredients | Table for Two, please?

Gather ingredients and cookware.

Cookware | Table for Two, please?

Oven at 400F | Table for Two, please?

Preheat oven to 400F.

Chopped broccoli | Table for Two, please?

Chop broccoli and place into a bowl.

Added grated garlic | Table for Two, please?

Either mince or grate garlic and add to the bowl.

Added oil and seasonings | Table for Two, please?

Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and a few dashes of seasoning salt, pepper, and oregano. If you want to give the broccoli a kick add a few dashes of red pepper flakes.

Pan with cooking spray | Table for Two, please?

Spray a large pan with cooking spray.

Everything mixed in bowl | Table for Two, please?

Mix everything in the bowl together.

Broccoli on pan | Table for Two, please?

Place broccoli mixture on pan and roast for 20-25 minutes or

Broccoli done | Table for Two, please?

until done to desired level.

Roasted Broccoli | Table for Two, please?

Enjoy!

The broccoli comes out super tasty and if you want can be crunchy. Like I said before, tomorrow we will be making the Stuffed Steak Bundles!

  1. Thanks for sharing on Pin it Thursday. I love roasted broccoli! I usually use just butter, salt, and then grated parmesan in last 5 minutes of roasting, but this recipe looks great, too.

    1. That sounds good too! That's the great thing about cooking. Everyone has a different recipe or way they cook something and it usually tastes just as good or even better!

    1. Thanks! I do it because I hate when you are right in the middle of cooking a recipe and all of sudden you realize you don't have something you need to finish the recipe! So I think it's important for you to know exactly what you are going to need.
